Kaitlyn's Class of 2027 Senior Portraits in Riverside, California
Four Locations and a Summer Sunset in Riverside California for Kaitlyn’s Senior Photos
Class Of 2027 Senior Portraits at Riverside, California | Redlands & Inland Empire Senior Photographer
Kaitlyn's senior session took us all around Riverside on June 11, 2026. From the bookshelves at the Riverside Community Library to her high school, a little path near UCR, and a sunset in the hills at Sycamore Canyon, we had four very different locations to work with. Each one brought out another part of her personality.

Kaitlyn is an avid reader, so starting at the library made perfect sense. She wore a sweater, denim skirt, and tennis shoes with fun laces. We photographed her around the bookshelves before heading outside for a few more portraits, even though it was nearly 100 degrees. That's a Riverside summer for you!
Our next stop was Kaitlyn's high school. As a student leader, she wanted to include her ASB jersey in her senior pictures, so she changed into her blue jeans and school gear. The campus was under construction, but we found some great spots that still made the school feel like part of her story.

From there, we headed toward UCR and found a little path along the side of the road with lavender, orange trees, and palm trees. It had that Southern California feel without needing a big destination. Kaitlyn changed into a white dress and heels, giving us a completely different look from the first half of her session.

We saved Sycamore Canyon Park for last and made it up into the hills just in time for sunset. Kaitlyn changed into a pink dress and cowboy boots, and we photographed her dancing on the rocks and among the flowers as the summer sun went down. It was a great way to finish a session that had taken us all over Riverside.

We couldn't have picked a better place to wrap up Kaitlyn's session than Sycamore Canyon Park. By the time we reached the hillside, the summer sun was beginning to set. Kaitlyn had changed into her pink dress and cowboy boots, which were perfect for exploring the rocks and flowers. We had fun incorporating movement into her portraits as she danced through the hillside, and the golden light gave us a great finish to an afternoon spent exploring Riverside.
One of my favorite things about senior sessions is finding ways to bring different interests and styles together. Kaitlyn's session took us from the library and her high school to a quiet path near UCR and the hills of Sycamore Canyon. If you're planning senior portraits in Riverside or anywhere in the Inland Empire, you don't have to settle for just one look or location. We can build a session around the places, activities, and outfits that mean something to you.
Kaitlyn, thanks for spending the afternoon with me, especially in that June heat! It was fun seeing your personality come through in so many different settings, from your love of books to your school spirit and those last few moments at sunset. Wishing you a fantastic senior year and all the best as you head toward graduation with the Class of 2027!
