Prospect Park and Golden Hour in Redlands California for Michelle’s Senior Pictures
Prospect Park and Golden Hour in Redlands California for Michelle’s Senior Photos
Class of 2026 Senior Portraits at Prospect Park | Redlands & Inland Empire Senior Photographer
Michelle’s senior session at Prospect Park in Redlands was relaxed, casual, and completely true to her personality. Her outfits were a little more laid-back than what some seniors choose, but that was exactly what made the session feel like her. With spring greenery and golden-hour light, we had plenty of variety without making the session feel overly styled.

Prospect Park is one of my favorite locations for senior pictures in Redlands because there is so much variety within one area. Between the trees, greenery, open spaces, and gorgeous late-afternoon light, we were able to create several completely different looks without losing that natural, relaxed feeling throughout her session.

We started Michelle’s session in a coral dress with black tennis shoes. The dress gave the look a little more polish, while the tennis shoes kept it relaxed and comfortable. It was a great example of how senior outfits do not have to feel overly formal—they should still feel like you.

For her next look, Michelle changed into a blue blouse with black jeans and tennis shoes. The outfit worked well with the greenery at Prospect Park and gave the session a more casual feel. I always recommend choosing at least one outfit that feels close to what you would normally wear, because those photos often feel the most natural.

Michelle then switched into a dark brown T-shirt with denim shorts, which brought out more of her playful personality. She likes to be silly, so we made sure to leave room for candid moments—laughing, moving around, and just being herself. Those moments are often some of my favorites because they feel genuine instead of overly posed.

As we moved closer to golden hour, Michelle changed into a sage and white sweater with ripped jeans and tennis shoes. The softer colors worked well with the greenery, and the warmer evening light gave the final part of the session a different feel from the earlier looks. It was an easy, relaxed way to finish her spring senior session.
If you’re planning senior photos in Redlands, Riverside, Corona, or anywhere in the Inland Empire, Prospect Park is a great option for a session with greenery, open spaces, and warm golden-hour light. Your senior photos do not have to look like everyone else’s. The location, outfits, and overall feel should reflect who you are right now and I’ll help guide you through those choices along the way.
Michelle, thank you for trusting me with your senior photos. I loved getting to capture everything from your casual spring outfits to the fun moments that showed off your personality. Congratulations on your senior year and the Class of 2026!
